Classic Oak Products Celebrates Local Talent at the 2024 Mornington Peninsula Wine Show

Classic Oak Products is thrilled to have sponsored the Chardonnay Provenance Trophy at the 2024 Mornington Peninsula Wine Show, which concluded last week with a remarkable showcase of local winemaking talent. Held on October 29–30, the event brought together over 120 producers, highlighting the Peninsula’s exceptional wine diversity.

This year, the coveted Chardonnay Provenance Award went to Yabby Lake, recognising the consistency and quality of their Single Vineyard Chardonnay across the 2023, 2019, and 2017 vintages. This award celebrates the hallmarks of well-crafted chardonnay: balanced oak, restrained ripeness, and the subtlety that comes with time, highlighting wines that age gracefully across vintages.

Classic Oak is proud to support an event that not only celebrates excellence but also offers local producers valuable feedback from industry experts, helping them refine and elevate their craft.
