Celebrating Success at the 2024 North East Victorian Wine Challenge

This year’s event once again showcased the exceptional diversity and craftsmanship of North East Victoria’s wine producers, highlighting the unique varietals and rich traditions of this renowned winemaking region.

We congratulate Fighting Gully Road for winning the François Frères Trophy for Best Alternative White Wine with their outstanding 2023 Verdicchio.

The North East Victorian Wine Challenge continues to shine a spotlight on the Alpine Valleys, Beechworth, Glenrowan, King Valley, and Rutherglen, elevating the region’s profile while fostering collaboration and recognition for its talented producers.
